Riddle & Rook is organizing a TTRPG convention that celebrates both that classic starting point of epic adventure and Sonoma County’s unique culture: TavCon! Join us and collaborate on unforgettable gaming experiences while enjoying award-winning beer!

It’s time! You can now buy tickets for TavCon 2026! We’ve got an amazing lineup of games!

Morning session (10-2):

• D&D 5e: Classic fantasy adventure in space!
• Daggerheart (ages 13+): Classic fantasy adventure
• Pirate Borg: Swashbuckling fun at the end of the world!
• Savage Worlds (ages 13+): Cold War SpecOps against the forces of darkness!
• Triangle Agency: Monster-hunting workplace comedy!
• Mecha vs. Kaiju (ages 13+, designed by a SoCo local!): Pilot giant robots! Fight giant monsters!
• Tarotweaver (ages 13+, designed by a SoCo local!): Whimiscal dungeon-crawling with a deck of tarot cards!

Afternoon session (2:30-6:30):

• D&D 5e (ages 13+): Classic fantasy adventure!
• Vaesen: Solve dark supernatural mysteries in 19th century Sweden!
• Candela Obscura: Solve supernatural mysteries in a dark, Victorian-inspired world!
• Scum & Villainy: Star Wars-inspired fun at the edge of the galaxy!
• Fate: Scooby Doo meets Willy Wonka meets your worst nightmares!
• Monster of the Week: Take on the things that go bump in the night!
• Cairn 2e (ages 13+): Fast, whimsical dungeon-crawling inspired by original D&D!

A seat in each session costs $25. You can play in only one game per session, but if you want to play in both sessions, go for it!

If you can’t get a seat in the game that you want, join the waiting list for it. Tickets may open up as people change games, and if you’re on the waiting list, you’ll get notified when that occurs.

TavCon FAQs

• What ages will be allowed at TavCon? Some games are for ages 13 and up, while others are for ages 18 and up. These limits were set by our GMs, so there will be no exceptions. Please check the age range for the games when you reserve your seat!
• Will there be more games? Maybe! Our space at Cuver is limited, but we may be able to fit in one more game per session. Keep an eye on our available tickets on Eventbrite.
• What food options will there be? We anticipate having a food truck on site from lunchtime on. We’ll also have snacks and soft drinks (and beer, of course!) for sale throughout the day. We’ll update this page with more information when we finalize our vendor and menu.
